Farmville's Annual Homecoming The Heart of Virginia Festival 2013

The Heart of Virginia Festival is an event that helped me come to love my town Farmville, VA.  This great event held on the first Saturday of May every year is a day long event with something to offer everyone. The community comes alive for the festival.

The festival started as an art show 35 years ago but has become so much more. Now you can enjoy crafts, food, entertainers, activities for children, and at night there is music and the best fireworks display for miles around.
